# Who am I

> Returns the identity of the principal the request is authenticated as: full name, email,
current company, role, and caller type (userType). For an x-api-key request
the identity returned is the key's owner (the key acts as the owner) and userType is
reported as apiuser; a hard-deleted (anonymized) profile is reported as
anonymous; every other caller is user. Fields resolved from the current
company/role (currentCompany, role) are null when no company context could
be resolved for the caller.
